Villa Rica

We just returned from a very relaxing vacation in Villa Rica, Georgia. Despite Villa Rica joining the list of "Towns in Georgia whose names the locals can't pronounce" (along with Lafayette and Vienna) it was an otherwise excellent week. Eric's family came up to Atlanta so Ryan got to see almost the entire immediate family: all four grandparents, Uncle Ben, Aunt Ginger, Meredith, Aunt "Tutta" and Aunt "Teeta". We went swimming several times, went to the Atlanta aquarium where we saw "fishies EVERYWHERE," visited Patricia's work campus, and had plenty of good eating and chilling time. One of the most fun things of visiting Atlanta is seeing Meredith and Ryan interact. Meredith is significantly more advanced vocally than her cousin and Ryan is slightly more physically advanced, but the two are always excited to see each other and play very well together. As it doesn't look like either will have another cousin nearly this close in age, hopefully they'll grow up as good long-distance friends! Pictures will be posted but probably not until after Ryan's birthday. It will take a while to compile them from all the relatives!
